The RTL learning portal is a gateway to all the courses and resources that facilitate learning within your organization. Use the RTL Portal to deliver Micro-Learning and continuous improvement education to allow your users to be up to speed on the specific initiative and upgrades provided by your organization. Allow for a “Single” depot of training and support information to be delivered and customized to you end users all in an “easy to use” interface and access.
Portal Features
Newsfeed
• Presents news feeds and websites (RSS, Twitter, etc) • Can be used for announcements, alerts, news • Can support images and links Can be pushed to particular users based on group
Resource Library
• Contains resources pushed to user or group by an admin as well as resources user has selected from Content Library • Can include documents, job aids, links, etc. • User can view or share resource with other users • User can give star rating to item
Streaming Video
• Contains links to videos stored on streaming video server (separate add-on) • Includes video thumbnail, description • User can view or share • Reports on video usage and can link video to surveys or quick assessments • Link to full video channel with “YouTube”-like features
Learning
• Lists assigned classes and meetings for the user • Can schedule and sign up for Web Ex and classroom events • Displays calendar with all assigned classes and meetings • User can give star rating to class • User can download class / meeting notes from meeting details • Instructor can manage the class and grades fo reach student
Gamification
• Contains learning games • Gamification status (e.g., prizes earned) and overall standings • User can launch game or view overall standings
Content Library
• User can browse and search for content throughout the system (both assigned and un-assigned) • Content can include courses, documents, classes, videos, etc. • User can perform different actions on content items: adding the item to home page (My Resources tile), enrolling in courses, emailing items, etc.
Responsive Design
• The RTL Portal works on desktops/laptops, mobile phones and tablets.
